The state government is also giving compensation per acre for the proper disposal of stubble. Stubble can be used as fertilizer. For better farming, farmers can mix the stubble in the soil with the help of mulcher, turnpike hail and rotavator etc. After this, potatoes can be sown. Farmers say that by mixing stubble in the soil, a better crop of potatoes can be produced.

For a good potato crop, it is necessary for the soil to be hard. This will allow the stubble to show its effect easily. The potato production in the field is up to 70-80 quintals per acre.

Farmers are earning a lot in Haryana

The Haryana government has started a scheme for the proper use of stubble. With this, farmers can earn up to Rs 1000 per acre by selling stubble. Just a few days ago, farmers in Ambala earned Rs 1 crore 10 lakh 78 thousand 660 by selling stubble instead of burning it. Under the scheme, the Agriculture and Welfare Department gave an incentive of one thousand rupees per acre to the farmers. Farmers made bundles of stubble with a baler and took it out of the field. They were given one thousand rupees per acre. Talking about the old records, 910 farmers had taken advantage of the scheme in the year 2020-21. They were given Rs 68 lakh 65 thousand as incentive by the government.

Can be used to make fodder for animals

Experts say that just like paddy straw, wheat straw is also there. Wheat stubble is rich in nutrients. By burning straw, it can be used as fodder. It can be used as fodder. By burning straw, nitrogen, phosphorus, potash and other micro elements of the soil get destroyed. Apart from this, the farmer’s friendly insects also die. This increases the number of enemy insects.
