The agency has given information about a new scam. This scam is happening most with iPhone users. iPhone users are being sent a message on iMessage, claiming that your parcel is not being delivered due to wrong address. This message has to be replied to within 24 hours or else the parcel will be returned. A web link is also being given with this message. Let us tell you that this is a fake message and by clicking on the link given with it, scammers can make you their victim.
Do not click on the wrong link
If you look carefully, you will see that the URL of India Post’s website is given wrongly in this message. In such a case, complain about this message and do not make the mistake of clicking on the link. Apart from this, do not give your bank account information and do not make the mistake of sending money. On receiving such a message, block the number immediately and complain about it to the police.

Avoid sharing your personal information on any website. Many times you give your information while purchasing online, after which these scammers message you and then adopt new methods of scam. In such a situation, special attention is needed.
