The case pertains to flight AI128 coming from UK to Mumbai. When Dr. Vishwaraj Vemla, working as a hepatologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK, was travelling. Then only one passenger in the flight had a sudden heart attack and fell unconscious there. Amidst the chaos, Vishvaraj Vemla immediately came forward and started trying to save his life. The patient’s condition deteriorated so much that his pulse stopped and he could not even breathe. On seeing this, Dr. Vishwaraj immediately asked the crew member about the emergency medical kit and started treatment on his strength.

Dr Vishwaraj Vemala, one of our consultant hepatologists, saved the life of a passenger who suffered two cardiac arrests mid-flight. With limited supplies, Dr Vemala was able to resuscitate him before handing over to emergency crews on the ground.
