Congress leading from Patna Sahib
In the first round of Digha Assembly seat under Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency, the Congress candidate got 4461 votes, while BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad got 3946 votes. The Election Commission has declared this.

The result of the first round is out
The result of the first round of electronic voting machines from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency has come out. In this, the Congress candidate is in second place with 3846 votes. BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad is in first place. Ravi Shankar got 4330 votes in the first round.

Counting of postal ballots has started on both seats
Counting of post ballots has started in Patna Sahib and Pataliputra seats. There is tight security at the counting centre. Meanwhile, District Election Officer Kapil Ashok arrived to inspect the counting centre. He gave several instructions to the officials.

Entry in the counting centre is not allowed without a pass
Counting centre has been set up in AN College, Patna. Counting staff started arriving here from 5 am. Tight security arrangements have been made from Boring Road crossing to NN College campus. No one is being allowed to enter the counting centre without a pass.

Competition between BJP and Congress on Patna Sahib seat
In Patna Sahib, former Union Minister and current BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad is pitted against Congress’ Anshul Abhijeet. BJP has fielded last time’s winner and senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad. Mahagathbandhan’s candidate against him is Anshul Abhijeet, grandson of former Deputy Prime Minister of India Jagjivan Ram and son of Meera Kumar. Both the candidates are high profile, Ravi Shankar is a renowned lawyer, while Anshul has a doctorate from Cambridge. Ravi Shankar Prasad He is counted among the top leaders of BJP. He has been a member of Rajya Sabha and a Union Minister. Anshul Abhijeet is currently the national spokesperson of Congress. Politics is in his blood. Anshul is an eight-time MP from Sasaram Lok Sabha seat and grandson of Congress veteran Jagjivan Ram. His mother and Jagjivan Ram’s daughter Meera Kumar had won from Sasaram seat twice.

Counting of votes is about to begin on all 40 Lok Sabha seats of Bihar, but the preparations of the capital Patna are worth seeing.
