Patna High Court has issued a bailable warrant against senior IAS officer KK Pathak. This warrant has been issued to ensure the presence of KK Pathak. The order has been passed by the court of Justice PB Bajanthari and Justice Jitendra Kumar in a contempt case. In fact, teacher Sukriti Kumar said that a contempt petition was filed in the Patna High Court. He had said that despite the order of the court, the salaries of the teachers of the education department are not paid regularly.

The matter was heard in the court. After this, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak was directed to appear in the court. KK Pathak’s lawyer Naresh Dixit informed the court that after assuming office on June 8, KK Pathak is continuously taking action on contempt related cases. Prior to this, the bailable warrant issued in another contempt case on July 13 has been challenged in the Supreme Court. Hearing is to be held in this matter on Tuesday i.e. today.

Order not served, did not even appear

In fact, the High Court had issued an order in a case for about seven and a half years, which had not been implemented till now. During the hearing of this case on Thursday, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department was ordered to be physically present. He did not appear on 13 july And informed the court through the lawyer that he has got the order implemented on June 16, 2023, on the basis that physical attendance should be exempted.

The court said – make him appear with warrant on 20th

The Patna High Court was angry with his absence during the hearing on Thursday. The reason for the displeasure was also that the court order was being disobeyed for seven and a half years and when physical attendance was ordered, such exemption was being sought by fulfilling that order. The court ordered to issue bailable warrant against Pathak and asked for physical presence on 20th July.
