PCOS Diet: Around 16% of women aged 20 to 29 deal with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or PCOS every day. PCOS is a problem related to ovary due to which a condition of hormone imbalance arises in the body of women and it is difficult to conceive. In this disease, instead of the female hormone, the level of male hormone becomes more in the body of women. Due to this disease, many lumps, which are also called cysts, start forming in the ovaries. As these lumps get bigger, they obstruct the process of ovulation and then it becomes difficult to conceive. The chances of getting type two diabetes also increase in women suffering from PCOS. However, if the diet and lifestyle are good then the problem of PCOS can be dealt with.

Ragi is a good alternative for women who do not like to eat dairy products. This is a good source of calcium. You can make dosa, porridge or rotis with ragi flour.

Berries and Cherries

Berries and cherries are rich in antioxidants. They are sweet to eat which can help curb your cravings. Instead of desserts made of sugar, you should include at least 1 to 2 servings of fruits in your diet a day. The antioxidant properties present in fruits help fight inflammation and prevent PCOS.

By including these foods with exercise, you can get rid of the problem of PCS. While following the PCOS diet, you should reduce the intake of fries, margarine, red or processed meat, soda and beverages like juice. It is advised that you consult your doctor regularly during this problem and get rid of this problem under his supervision.
