This chaat is prepared with spicy spices and vegetables. Shopkeepers say that their method is so different that the papdi tastes different. Spicy spices are used in it, which doubles the taste.
This papdi is very tasty
There are many major places in Farrukhabad where papdi is sold daily. Kamalganj, Mohammadabad, Fatehgarh, Kampil and other places have good sales. But one shop is different. Ramveer, a papdi shopkeeper on Station Road in Farrukhabad town, says that he has been setting up a papdi shop here for the last 10 years. He prepares the spices by grinding them by hand. As soon as he sets up the shop in the morning, there is a crowd of customers. At such a time when sales are good, 200 to 300 papdi are sold daily. At the same time, good sales are according to the season. At such a time, he earns two to three thousand rupees daily.
How special papdi is prepared
To make this special chaat, round shaped papdi is prepared from wheat flour. A mixture is made by mixing vegetables. Along with adding lemon and spicy tadka, green vegetables are added as salad. Later, curd is used, which enhances its taste. To prepare papdi, first boiled potato, gram, onion, tomato and green chilli along with coriander, lemon, black salt, cumin, red chilli, jaljira, wheat flour and soybean oil and tomato along with ground special spices are used.
The price is only 20 rupees
Usually you have to spend 80 to 150 rupees to eat chaat-papri. But the chaat of Farrukhabad is very special. You can buy and eat this chaat for just 20 rupees.
