There is a different political atmosphere in Delhi regarding the water shortage. BJP is continuously protesting. Meanwhile, people are struggling for water. Meanwhile, on Sunday, unknown people vandalized the Delhi Jal Board office in Chhatarpur area. Meanwhile, three people were injured in a dispute over water in Dwarka.

According to Delhi Police, a dispute broke out in Dwarka district area over filling water from a common tap. Three people were injured in this dispute and were admitted to Indira Gandhi Hospital. There is no communal angle. Two cross cases have been registered on the statements of both the parties. Investigation is going on.
At the same time, BJP MP from North East Delhi Manoj Tiwari took part in the ‘Matka-phod’ protest against the Delhi government over the water shortage in Delhi. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, ‘Every year there is a water crisis… Who is Atishi cheating? Atishi should bring a white paper on which the pipes have been changed in the last 10 years. These are lazy people, they do not even have any strategy, no intention, they only want to loot the treasury.’

BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri said, “This is a corrupt government. They are trying to change the story to save themselves from corruption charges. There has been no audit in Delhi Jal Board. It is in loss of Rs 70,000 crore. This is a corrupt government, we have demanded to be free from this government.”

On the vandalism at the Delhi Jal Board office in Chhatarpur, he said, ‘This is natural. If people are angry, they can do anything. I am thankful to the workers who controlled those people.’
