Sleep cycle 5th stage: If you are not getting proper sleep or are sleeping after getting up in between, then it is an indication of being sick. Sleep is complete in 5 stages
Sleep is not one or two, it is completed in all 5 stages. The first and second stages are light sleep, the third and fourth are deep sleep, while the fifth stage is called REM SLEEP.

first stage of sleep
This phase is called light sleep. Which is commonly called raw sleep. In this state, if there is even a slight sound, the eyes open immediately. In this phase, the pupils of the eyes keep moving slowly. The activities of the muscles also start slowing down.

second stage of sleep
After the cycle of the first stage is completed, sleep enters the second stage. In this, the brain starts preparing to go into deep sleep. During this, the movement of the eyes starts slowing down. Body temperature starts to decrease slightly. The heart rate also starts getting slower than before.

third stage of sleep
After the second stage, it is now the turn to enter the third stage. In this stage the brain has reached deep sleep. Slowly slow delta waves start coming out of the brain. It tries to make the mind more relaxed by connecting with some other waves.

fourth stage of sleep
In the fourth stage, the mind has reached deep sleep. During this, the waves emanating from the brain start rapidly relaxing the brain and other bodies. Heart rate has become very low. The speed of breath also decreases. During this time you are going towards the fifth stage.

fifth and last stage
This is the last stage of sleep. If this cycle is completed in a healthy way, then it is called healthy sleep. This stage is called REM SLEEP. In this stage the eyes are completely closed. A sleeping person starts dreaming. Due to the dream, the pupils of the eyes move rapidly here and there. This period lasts for about 90 minutes. However, on getting older, this cycle becomes shorter. This period is more in children and youth.
