Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Varanasi on Friday on a two-day tour. Keeping in mind the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 24, feedback was taken from the officers regarding preparations. Finalized the list of projects to be inaugurated and foundation stone laid by PM Modi. The Chief Minister reached Babatpur Airport at 4:40 pm. Directly from here he went to inspect the integrated pack house for export of fruits and vegetables located at Karkhiyavan. Here he saw machines for cold storage and sorting of vegetables.

Municipal officials should visit their respective areas regularly and solve problems on the same day. The places from where the encroachment is removed, it should be ensured that encroachment does not happen again at those places. Asked to fix the rates of boats at each ghat on the lines of Prayagraj. Asked to install signage at deep places in Ganga.
The CM said that the development and construction works should be completed on time with quality under any circumstances. Lateness in any work will not be tolerated. Provide health facilities to the public. In the Arogya Mela, camps should be organized in detail about all the schemes of the Health Department. Its publicity should be spread. Expressed displeasure over NHI’s road being dirty. Told to get it cleaned regularly. Asked to make a concrete plan for the revival of Assi river.
