The state government has started preparations for the Reserve Civil Police Recruitment Examination 2023 proposed in the coming February. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has started the process of determining the capacity of the examination centers along with them. Under the proposal, the government can conduct examinations at about 6.5 thousand examination centres.

The total capacity of these examination centers will be more than 31.75 lakh. Examination centers will be selected on basic parameters. Also, only those centers which meet the standards related to examination hall have been included in the final list. It is noteworthy that Yogi government has recently released the notification of Reserve Civil Police Recruitment Examination 2023 for more than 60 thousand posts. The examination is proposed on 18th February.

Proposal for examination centers in zones and commissionerates

In the process of determining the examination centers by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, a total of 6484 examination centers have been proposed, whose total capacity is more than 31.75 lakh. 4844 examination centers have been proposed in the zone and 1640 examination centers have been proposed in the commissionerate. Talking about zones, maximum 832 examination centers will be in Lucknow, whose total capacity is more than 4 lakh. 741 examination centers in Bareilly (total capacity more than 3.43 lakh), 699 in Gorakhpur (total capacity more than 3.49 lakh), 647 in Varanasi (total capacity more than 3.47 lakh), 540 in Agra (total capacity more than 2.61 lakh) , 527 examination centers are proposed in Kanpur city (total capacity more than 2.31 lakh), 464 in Meerut (total capacity more than 2.39 lakh) and 394 in Prayagraj (total capacity more than 1.94 lakh). Whereas in the Commissionerate, maximum 488 examination centers are proposed in Prayagraj, whose total capacity is more than 2.25 lakh. Similarly, 271 in Kanpur city (total capacity more than 1.05 lakh), 261 in Agra (total capacity more than 1.23 lakh), 237 in Varanasi (total capacity more than 1.29 lakh), 148 in Lucknow (total capacity more than 1.05 lakh). , 127 examination centers have been proposed in Ghaziabad (total capacity more than 58 thousand) and 108 in Gautam Buddha Nagar (total capacity more than 53 thousand).

Only those centers which meet the basic standards will get recognition.

All examination centers will be given the green signal only after meeting the basic standards. In this, the examination will be classified on the basis of type of center i.e. whether the center is government or government aided or private. At the same time, the past performance of the center will also be seen, in which if any adverse fact has come to light in the previously conducted examinations or the school is suspicious, then such institutions will not be made examination centres. Apart from this, details of examinations conducted by various selection commissions in the last 3 years will also be seen in these centres.

Coaching institutes will not be selected as examination centres. Classification of examination centers has also been done. In this, all the government schools which meet the prescribed standards and are located nearby within the city have been included in Category A. At the same time, all the government funded schools which meet the prescribed standards and are located inside or near the city have been kept in Category B. Category C includes reputed recognized private and missionary schools, CBSE, ICSE schools, colleges, technical schools and universities meeting the prescribed standards and located in or near the city. Doubtful schools and institutions which have been reprimanded by any commission or board have been kept in Category D, which will not be made examination centres.
