PM Kisan Land Verification: After increasing illegal cases in Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government has made e-KYC and verification of land records mandatory. Many farmers have not done both these tasks, because of which the 12th installment has been stopped and now if the verification is not done even till the 13th instalment, the government can disqualify them. Recently, 3 lakh 36 thousand 306 farmers of Haryana have been identified, who are taking Samman Nidhi money, but are not getting their land papers verified. In this regard, all the state governments have also issued interim instructions, despite which the farmers have not yet been able to get the land verification done.
Where to get land verification done
It is mandatory for every farmer associated with Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to get his land papers verified. In every district of Haryana, the facility of verification of land records is being provided in the office of Agriculture Department. For this, farmers are also being made aware by setting up camps in every district. Despite this, out of 19 lakh 492 farmers of the state, 3 lakh 36 thousand 306 farmers have not yet been able to get their land verification done.
Government can disqualify
According to a report in The Tribune, many ineligible farmers of Haryana are still taking advantage of the PM Kisan Yojana. For their identification, verification of their land documents i.e. Land Records Verification is being done. On the other hand, despite being eligible for the PM Kisan Yojana, some are not able to avail the benefits, which may also be due to non-verification of land records. It is being speculated that if the farmers do not get this work done as soon as possible, then the government can also disqualify them. The 13th installment is going to be released in the next two months. Gets 6,000 rupees every year
