What is Kisan Maandhan Yojana

This is a national pension scheme. The aim of this scheme is to benefit small and marginal farmers. For this scheme, farmers have to invest only 55 rupees every month and they are given 3 thousand rupees every month after crossing the age of 60 years. Let us tell you that no processing fee is charged for joining this scheme. If you want to leave this scheme after some time, then whatever you have contributed will be returned to you along with interest.

These people do not get the benefit of the scheme

If you are taking advantage of any scheme like National Pension Scheme, Employees State Insurance Corporation Scheme, Employees Provident Fund Scheme or are coming under its purview, then you will be deprived of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana. Apart from this, those farmers who have opted for Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana operated by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, cannot take advantage of this scheme. The benefit of this scheme is also not available to those people who are taking advantage of Pradhan Mantri Laghu Vyapari Mandhan Yojana of the Ministry of Labor and Employment or have been selected for it. People with good financial status are also deprived of this scheme.

These people are also not eligible

Under this scheme, the more you deposit, the more pension amount you get. Farmers who have more than two hectares of land, or whose annual income is more than 18 lakhs, will not get the benefit of this scheme. To avail the benefits of this scheme, you need to contribute regularly.
