The farmer brothers were waiting for the 16th installment for a long time. PM Narendra Modi had transferred the 15th installment from Khunti district of Jharkhand. Whereas today the PM has transferred the 16th installment from Yavatmal district of Maharashtra to the accounts of the farmer brothers. Under the scheme, six thousand rupees are transferred to the accounts of farmers in a year. Under the scheme, this money reaches the accounts of the farmer brothers in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. This scheme is also called the world’s largest DBT scheme.
