The 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is going to be released today, Saturday, October 5. This is an important day for the farmers who benefit from this scheme. What is PM-KISAN scheme?
Under PM-KISAN scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given to eligible farmers every year. This amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the farmers in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. The objective of the scheme is to help the farmers financially and provide them relief from the expenses incurred in farming. This money is sent to the accounts of farmers every four months, so that they can meet their farming needs.
To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for farmers to complete e-KYC. If any farmer has not yet done e-KYC, then he should complete this process as soon as possible. Farmers can do e-KYC through OTP from their mobile phone or can get biometric e-KYC done by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Without e-KYC, farmers will not be able to avail the benefits of the upcoming installment of this scheme.
How to check your PM Kisan account status?
If you want to know whether your installment money has been deposited in your account or not, then you can check your status by visiting pmkisan.gov.in. By clicking on the ‘Know Your Status’ tab on the website, you can get the information by entering your registration number and captcha code.

How to check name in beneficiary list?
You can also see your name in the beneficiary list. For this, go to pmkisan.gov.in and click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab and get the report by filling the information of state, district, block and village.
