Who all can take advantage?
Under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, in the financial year 2023-24, farmers who want to do fish farming on leased land can apply till February 28. After this, the selected beneficiaries will be given grants for construction of ponds for freshwater fish farming, construction of saline and alkaline land ponds, establishment of RAS unit, feed meal with production capacity of 2, 8, 20 tons per day, backyard mini RAS unit. will be given.
Who will get how much grant?
According to the tweet issued by the Haryana government, under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, the general category beneficiaries will get 40% subsidy on the cost of the fisheries project.
