How to get benefit in the scheme?
Under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana run by the Government of India, the Government of India provides financial assistance of Rs 5000 for the first child. Whereas, financial assistance of Rs 6000 is given for the second child. But if the second child is a girl, then only the benefit is given for the second time in the scheme. Money is given in two installments for the first child, in which Rs 3000 is given in the first installment and Rs 2000 in the second installment. Whereas, if the second child is a girl, then Rs 6000 is given in one installment.
Let us tell you that the scheme benefits those women whose family’s annual income is less than 8 lakhs or who are BPL card holders or those women who belong to Scheduled Caste and Tribe. Women holding e-Shram card. Beneficiary women farmers under Kisan Samman Nidhi. Women holding MNREGA job card are also given benefits under this scheme. To apply for the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana run by the Government of India, pregnant women have to register at the Anganwadi center. After this, they have to fill the form for the scheme and submit it with the correct information and related documents. The form for the scheme can also be downloaded from the website http://wcd.nic.in. This form also has to be filled and submitted at the Anganwadi center along with the documents.
