Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met 51 women of the district who rear Gir cows at the Banas Dairy Plant in Karkhiyaanv. Information was taken from 10 of these women about their experience of rearing Gir cows. The Prime Minister inspired all the women to strengthen their economic condition through Gir Cow. The women said that they are getting good profits from selling milk.

- I work in a private company. Went to Gujarat for 10 days training. After returning from there, Gir cow was found in March 2021. His arrival has brought positive energy to the house. Gives more milk than a local cow. – Ambashree Neelam, Paniyara
