Being the Lok Sabha constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Varanasi has become the main focal point of the country’s politics. Through a road show of about two and a half hours from Kashi, which is known as the city of religion and spirituality, on Monday, the Prime Minister addressed the caste, social, mythological and spiritual equations not only of Kashi but of the entire country.
In the eight kilometer long road show, the Muslim community along with Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Marwari, Tamil and Punjabi welcomed PM Narendra Modi in traditional attire. Cutouts of almost all the great men of the country appeared in his road shows. By worshiping Kashi Vishwanath, he also gave a spiritual message to the country.
The political significance of the road show was not only for Varanasi. The eyes of the country and the world were on the Prime Minister’s road show, so the BJP had made preparations of the same level. People from every state of the country live in Kashi. Even before the start of the road show, 11 points were made and the location of every section of the society and every community was decided at each of those points. Batuks, Sanyasi, Mahatmas were also given place at these points.
Racial balance created even through welcome point
The MLAs, ministers, former MLAs and former MPs were on duty at the 11 points built between BHU and Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Everything had meaning. MLA Saurabh Srivastava comes from Kayastha community. Similarly, in UP government, Minister Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, Mayor Ashok Tiwari, former MP Rajesh Mishra and MLA Neelkanth Tiwari come from Brahmin community.
