3. PM Modi said that the Congress government cannot even imagine the speed with which work is being done in the country today. We built 4 crore houses for the poor, out of which 80 lakh pucca houses were built for the urban poor. Had the work been done at the speed of Congress, it would have taken 100 years to complete this much work, 100 generations would have passed.
4. PM Modi said, “Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had said from the Red Fort – India generally does not have the habit of working hard. We do not do as much work as Europe, Japan, China, Russia and America do. Jawaharlal Nehru’s view towards Indians was that Indians were lazy.
5. PM Modi said, “Indira Gandhi’s thinking was not much different from that of Jawaharlal Nehru.” He had said from the Red Fort – Unfortunately, our habit is that when some auspicious work is about to be completed, we suffer from a feeling of self-satisfaction and when any difficulty arises, we become hopeless.
6. Targeting the Congress, PM Modi said that earlier the entire time of the House was spent on discussing scams and corruption. There were constant demands for action and there were only reports of corruption everywhere. Today, when action is taken against the corrupt, these people create ruckus in their support.
7. PM Modi said that in our first term, we spent a lot of time and energy to fill the holes left during the UPA period. We laid the foundation of a new India in our second term and in the third term we will give a new impetus to the building of a developed India.
8. PM Modi said that Congress has always believed in one family. One cannot think or see anything beyond one’s family.
9. PM Modi said that the mentality of Congress has caused great loss to the country. Congress never believed in the strength of the country, they considered themselves rulers and underestimated the people.
10. PM Modi said that 40 thousand kilometers of railway tracks have been electrified in 10 years. If the country had run at the pace of Congress, it would have taken 80 years to complete this work.
