According to senior officials of the Indian government, NSA Ajit Doval is staying in India not due to any international pressure or any other reason but to deal with the security situation arising out of the ongoing elections in Jammu and Kashmir and other domestic issues. Officials dismissed speculations that Doval has opted out of accompanying the PM on this trip due to a summons issued by a New York court.
