PM Narendra Modi Jungle Safari in Kaziranga National Park Feed Elephants in Assam Trip


PM Modi in Assam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took an elephant and jeep ride in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger River in Assam on Saturday (9 March) morning. PM Modi also fed their favorite food sugarcane to three elephants in the National Park. Prime Minister Modi has also met the female forest guard deployed for the protection of animals in Kaziranga National Park. PM Modi also shared pictures of his first visit to a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site.

PM Modi was seen going to Kaziranga National Park in a jeep early in the morning. During this time, Forest Department officials were also present with him. National Park Director Sonali Ghosh and other forest department officials informed the Prime Minister about the animals present here. PM Modi had also come with a camera with him, through which he clicked pictures of many beautiful looking parts of the National Park in the morning. He also took pictures of animals.

A video of PM Modi’s jungle safari was also shared by news agency ANI, in which he is seen going to the park sitting in a jeep. Two to three jeeps are seen in this convoy. It can be seen in the video that PM Modi is sitting on an elephant and looking at the animals of the National Park.

PM Modi also fed elephants during his visit to Kaziranga National Park. Pictures were shared by the Prime Minister on the social media platform X, in which he can be seen feeding sugarcane to three elephants. He has also told their names. PM Modi said, ‘Feed sugarcane to elephants named Lakhimai, Pradyumna and Phoolmai. Kaziranga is known for rhinos, but it also has a large number of elephants along with many other species.

PM met female forest guard

After completing the jungle safari, PM Modi also met the female forest guard posted in Kaziranga National Park. He expressed respect for women for the security of the National Park. PM Modi said, ‘Discussed with Van Durga. The team of Mahila Forest Guards who are at the forefront of conservation efforts are bravely protecting our forests and wildlife. Their dedication and courage in protecting our natural heritage is truly inspiring.

The Prime Minister said, ‘I would urge all of you to visit Kaziranga National Park and experience its beauty. It is a place where every visit enriches the soul and connects you deeply to the heart of Assam.’
