PM Narendra Modi New Cabinet NDA allies which got only 2 ministries in 2019 now get 11 ministers Modi 3.0 BJP JDU TDP

News of PM Modi’s oath ceremony: Lok Sabha Elections Before 2024, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is leading the NDA alliance, had given the slogan of crossing 400, but the results were not like this. Even the entire NDA alliance could not cross 300. Even though the NDA has formed the government and Narendra Modi has become the PM for the third time, this time the NDA allies have benefited the most.

In fact, in 2019, BJP had crossed the majority mark on its own. It had more than 300 seats, so it was not dependent on anyone to form the government. Experts say that considering the number of seats, BJP never gave so much importance to the allies in the second term. For this reason, NDA allies were also kept away from the cabinet in Modi’s second term. Only leaders of 2 parties were ministers in the Modi government, but this time it is not so. This time BJP is completely dependent on other parties of NDA and it has had to give them many ministries.

How many MPs from which party became ministers

This time, 11 MPs from 9 NDA parties have got a place in the Modi cabinet. If we look in detail, two are from Janata Dal United, two from Telugu Desam Party, one from Janata Dal Secular, one from Hindustani Awam Morcha, one from Lok Janshakti Party, one from Rashtriya Lok Dal, one from Apna Dal (Sonelal), one from Republican Party of India and Eknath Shinde One MP from this faction of Shiv Sena has got a place in the Modi cabinet.

A total of 72 ministers have taken oath

Narendra Modi Along with him, a total of 72 ministers also took oath on Sunday (9 June 2024). These include 30 cabinet ministers, 5 ministers of state with independent charge and 36 ministers of state. Out of these 72 ministers, 11 are from NDA allies. Currently, 14 parties of NDA have 53 seats. BJP is the largest party in NDA with 240 seats, while TDP is second with 16 MPs.
