Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the election rally at Drummond Inter College ground in Pilibhit today. From Pilibhit, BJP has made Jitin Prasad its candidate in place of Varun Gandhi. The Prime Minister will also do the electoral calculations for the surrounding Lok Sabha seats from this Terai district. The seats around Pilibhit include Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Badaun and Lakhimpur and Dhaurahara seats.
The Prime Minister will reach here at 10:55 am and will stay in the city for 55 minutes. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present along with the Prime Minister. The Chief Minister will reach the meeting venue an hour before. The Chief Minister had also addressed the Prabuddh Sammelan a week ago in support of the BJP candidate. The police administration has made strict security arrangements for the Prime Minister’s meeting.
Police, PAC and paramilitary forces under security
A security blueprint has been prepared for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rally from the helipad to the meeting venue. 45 gazetted officers, 80 inspectors, 12 women inspectors, 255 sub-inspectors and 45 women sub-inspectors will handle security. Apart from this, there will be five companies of PAC, one company of paramilitary force, 1320 head constables and constables, 70 traffic police personnel and other officers and employees. Police force will also be deployed outside the roads of all the localities falling from the helipad to the meeting place.
