What is PM Shri School Scheme?

A scheme was launched by the Government of India in the year 2022. Its name was PM Shri i.e. PM School for Rising India, which is also known as PM Shri School Scheme. National Education Policy 2020 will be implemented under this scheme. The government will work to develop 14500 schools under the scheme. That is, these schools will be built under modern technology.

Advanced technology will be arranged in these so that students can get modern education. 20 lakh young children will benefit from this scheme. If we talk about the budget for the scheme, then this entire project is worth Rs 27360 crore. In this 5-year project, Rs 18128 crore will be given by the central government. The rest of the expenses will be borne by the state governments.

It will be very different from normal schools

If we talk about government schools now, then the students studying in them do not get as many facilities as the students studying in private schools. But under the PM Shri scheme of the Government of India, schools will be developed with modern technology. In this, the physical infrastructure will be strengthened. Class rooms will be built in a better way. Laboratory will be arranged.

Children will also be provided with practical knowledge of different subjects. VR headsets, multi-language pen translator, video recording lab and a good campus for sports will also be prepared. Along with this, separate arrangements will also be made for the studies of blind students under the scheme.
