The actor told YouTube channel Digital Commentary, ‘I always collect memorabilia from film sets. If I am shooting a film and my character smokes a smoking pipe, I will easily request the makers if I can keep that pipe as a memento. Whereas if my character also uses a Zippo lighter, then I request him to keep it too.
The producer had said this when the watch was lost
Dibyendu Bhattacharya further told how once he had kept a watch as a keepsake but he lost it and a female producer misbehaved with him. Dibyendu said, ‘I had kept a watch as a souvenir from a project. It was not a branded watch, but it was fancy. The team had bought it from Char Bazaar. When I returned to the film after two months for promotion and photoshoot, I did not find the watch. This woman asked me, well sold it? The actor says that he had decided then and there that he would never talk to this female producer in his life.
It is more difficult to play small characters – Dibyendu Bhattacharya
Dibyendu Bhattacharya had earlier told IANS that he feels that playing small roles is more difficult than playing big roles. The reason for this is that for small roles, an actor has to get into the rhythm in a very limited time as compared to someone working on big roles, whereas for big roles, one gets more time to understand the nuances of the character. .
