A prostitution ring was running in a hotel located at Anand Lok, Mahipalpur in the South-Western district. The hotel owners were running this gang. Young women were sent for prostitution on the demand of the people staying in the hotel. The special staff of the district has exposed this gang and arrested one accused. Police have freed three girls including a foreigner. Rs 2,500 given by a fake customer has been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused Surendra.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Surendra Chaudhary, who recently took charge of the South West district, has formed a team of special staff of the South West district to curb crime like prostitution activity in the district and as per the instructions of senior officers, to specifically monitor the crime spots. Instructions were given to develop critical inputs and take action against persons involved in crime. Under the leadership of Special Staff Incharge Inspector Narendra Singh, SI Ashok Kumar Meena, SI Vikram Lamba, ASI Rajeshwar, Havildar Sandeep, Harendra, Satpal, Sumer had received information about the prostitution racket going on in Mahipalpur.
The team of special staff made the staff members as fake customers and sent them to Anand Hotel located in Mahipalpur, Delhi. As soon as the accused Surendra, who was running the gang, took Rs 2500 from the fake customer, the team of SI Ashok Meena arrested Surendra son of Rohitash (38), resident of broker Hukma ki Dhani, Tehsil Buhana, District Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and recovered an amount of Rs 2,500 from the hotel reception. Recovered. According to police officials, the accused used to contact the customers staying in the hotel and supply girls to them by talking about girls. Inquiries are being made whether the hotel administration is aware of this or not.
