In Central Delhi’s Prasad Nagar area, a young man was murdered and another was seriously injured by stabbing him simply because his scooter touched a jeep. The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra alias Monu (22). Monu’s friend Vimal, who was injured in the attack, is undergoing treatment in the hospital. After taking the statement of Vimal Prakash, the police have arrested four boys including the main accused. They have been identified as Jugunu, Amit, Vicky and Karan. Both the groups of boys are from the same area and they know each other from before. The police is trying to trace the other accused by interrogating the arrested accused.
According to the police, Dharmendra alias Monu lived with his family in Bapa Nagar area. His family includes his father Satish Kumar and other members. Monu was currently unemployed. He was looking for a job. On the night of 15th August, Thursday, Monu’s friend Neeraj was roaming in the area in his jeep. Meanwhile, a youth named Jugnu was passing by on his scooter. The jeep touched the scooter. Jugnu became furious at this. He started quarreling with Neeraj. There was a heated argument between the two. Jugnu asked Neeraj to look into the matter. Seeing the matter getting worse, Neeraj called his friends Vimal Prakash and Monu.
Before both of them reached the spot, Jugunu left the spot. After being convinced by both of them, Neeraj agreed to compromise with Jugunu. He went to his house to talk to him, but Jugunu was not found there. Later, Neeraj, Monu and Vimal reached a slipper factory to party. Meanwhile, Jugunu along with his friends attacked them. Neeraj managed to save his life and run away from the spot. Jugunu and his friends surrounded Vimal and Monu and stabbed them. Later, all of them fled. Upon reaching the hospital, Monu died during treatment, while Vimal is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police have arrested four people after taking his statement. Search is on for the rest.
