ACP Wave City Lipi Nagaich said that a complaint was received from the woman in this case on Saturday. After this, two teams were deployed to arrest the accused, in which he was arrested on Sunday. The accused’s name is Shadab, he is a resident of Dasna.

The woman told that in the month of January, the woman met Shadab through social media. After initial chatting, both of them started meeting, where the accused lured her into marriage. According to the victim, he raped her several times after this. During this time, the accused pressured her to convert to his religion and said that he would marry her only if she agreed to him. After this, the woman even changed her name and after this the accused asked her to convert to his religion and leave her family and children. If she did not do so, he refused to marry her. After this, the woman complained to the police.
