On Thursday, the police department was in a state of panic after getting information about the robbery of Rs 8.50 lakh at Gaurang Filling Station in Vrindavan, Mathura. Vrindavan Police, SOG and ASP also reached the petrol pump. When the information and CCTV footage were seen, the matter turned out to be a fight and the police heaved a sigh of relief. The petrol pump employee who gave the wrong information was reprimanded and warned.

According to the police, the sevayat of Shriradha Madan Mohan temple got the tank of his Activa filled. After filling the petrol, the workers present there asked for 450 rupees. On this, a debate started between the sevayat and the worker. As soon as they got the news of this, some media persons reached the spot and started taking the byte of the consumer. Due to this, the petrol pump workers started misbehaving with the media persons. The atmosphere started getting heated in no time.

Meanwhile, a petrol pump worker informed the police control room about the robbery of Rs 8.50 lakh. ASP/CO Sadar Kunwar Akash Singh, Kotwali in-charge Ravi Tyagi reached there with police force and SOG team. When the investigation started and CCTV footage was checked, the robbery case was found to be fake. CO Sadar said that the robbery case has been found to be fake. If such information is given in future, strict action will be taken.
