RKpuram police station of South-Western district has traced a missing 13-year-old minor girl and handed her over to her family. The police has returned happiness on their faces.

South-Western District Police Deputy Commissioner Surendra Chaudhary said that the police had received information about the girl’s missing around 9 am on November 9. The family members told the police that he lives in Ambedkar Basti of RKpuram Sector-1. His daughter has suddenly gone missing since morning. Even after a lot of searching, she could not be found. The police team started investigation under the supervision of RKpuram police station incharge Ravindra Tyagi. Started investigation with the help of CCTV footage and local sources.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police said that after a lot of hard work of about three hours, the police succeeded in finding out the whereabouts of the girl. During interrogation, it was revealed that his father did not get him new clothes for Chhath Puja. Because of this, she left the house in anger. After counselling, the police handed over the girl to the family.
