Late on Sunday night, the SOG team received information about the presence of a criminal, who was wanted for a five-year-old robbery, robbery and extortion, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, on New Kamar Road. The bike-riding criminal got injured after being shot in both his legs. Police admitted him to CHC in injured condition. The accused revealed his name as Alijan Meo alias Lilo son of Nawab alias Nabbe, resident of Kaavan, police station Khoh, district Deeg.

The criminal is wanted in eight cases

In eight cases registered in Mathura since 2019, the wanted vicious criminal Alijaan was named in robbery, dacoity, robbing vehicles, extortion etc. Eight cases are registered against it in Farah, Vrindavan and Kosi police stations of Mathura. Police was searching for him since 2019. If Alijan is not found, Mathura Police has announced a reward of Rs 50 thousand.
