The two-day police recruitment examination in Hathras began on February 17 amid tight security arrangements. This examination was conducted in two shifts at 19 examination centers in the district. 18217 candidates were to participate in it. In this, 17666 candidates were present, while 551 candidates were absent. DM Archana Verma, SP Nipun Aggarwal and other officials inspected the examination centers and took stock of the arrangements.
Police recruitment examination is to be held in the district on 18th February. For the examination, the city’s DRB Inter College, CLRN Seksaria Inter College, MLDV Public School, Saraswati Mahavidyalaya, RPM Degree College Kota Road, Rambagh Inter College, BLS International School, Rajendra Lohia Vidya Mandir, Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, St. Francis Inter College , Maya Institute of Pharmacy, Cemex International School, Shri Nehru Memorial Bhagwan Das Inter College Mendu, Balwant Singh Public School Salempur and RBS Public School Mursan have been made centres.
Jammers installed at examination centres, mobiles become toys
Candidates will not be able to talk on mobile phones during the police recruitment examination. For this, jammers were installed at every examination centre. Biometric scanning of the candidates was done. Apart from this, Sector and Zonal Magistrates continuously inspected their respective examination centers to ensure cheating-free examination.
Coaching centers and photo stat shops remained closed
Photostat shops around the examination centers remained closed throughout the day for the UP Police recruitment examination. Apart from this, coaching centers located on Aligarh Road, Agra Road and other routes of the city also remained closed throughout the day. In view of the police recruitment examination, the district administration had already given instructions to keep the coaching centers and photo state shops closed on both the days of the examination.
