After the misbehavior of the post in-charge while offering Namaz on the road in Indralok on Friday afternoon, the police along with the local people conducted a flag march on Saturday appealing to maintain peace. Paramilitary forces and police personnel have been deployed in the area. Many videos related to the incident are going viral on social media. Police have increased surveillance on this also.

North District DCP Manoj Kumar Meena says that an appeal has been made to all the organizations not to try to spoil the atmosphere, otherwise strict action will be taken against such people. Senior officials also held meetings with the peace committee members to maintain peace in the area. During this, officials of the Peace Committee and other responsible people including religious leaders of different communities of the area appealed to the local people to cooperate in maintaining peace. The DCP has also issued a statement expressing regret over the incident.

In the video that went viral on Friday, a policeman is seen trying to clear the jam on the road when the ambulance was stuck. He appeals to the people offering Namaz on the road to move away, but people do not move. In such a situation, he starts lifting them himself. During this, a scuffle broke out between the policemen and the Namazis. In the video, some people are seen hitting the helmet on the back of the policeman. After this, the policeman pushed the people offering Namaz on the road from behind and picked them up. In the uproar that followed, some mischievous elements targeted the police two-wheeler and patrolling car.
