The political temperature has risen in Bihar’s Sasaram over the postponement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally called by the BJP on April 2. In fact, Shah’s rally on Ram Navami was canceled after disturbances in Rohtas district. Regarding this, BJP MP from Aurangabad, next to Sasaram, Sushil Kumar Singh has opened a front against the Nitish government of Bihar. Singh said in a press conference at his residence here on Saturday afternoon that the Bihar government did not take any action against the miscreants in Rohtas. Deliberately exaggerated the situation. Section 144 was imposed by creating artificial tension. To show this, the internet was shut down so that the situation here looks extremely tense. The only aim of the state government behind this was to cancel the rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

‘Forcibly postponed Ashoka Jayanti celebrations’

Sushil Kumar Singh said that our party respects the BJP law. JDU should not blame the nuisance on BJP. For this, the party compulsorily postponed the Samrat Ashok Jayanti celebrations organized in Sasaram so that JDU does not get such an opportunity. He said that one of the great personalities with whom our state is identified, is Emperor Ashoka. There are three monuments of Emperor Ashoka in the country. One of them is also in Sasaram. This monument of Sasaram was besieged by anti-social elements. The monument was covered with a sheet. There was also a lock. BJP strongly opposed it. There was a movement, there was a sit-in. Only then this monument of Emperor Ashoka was freed from anti-social elements.

‘JDU will not gain anything by putting such obstruction’

Singh said that the state government was under the impression that it would be discussed when Union Home Minister Amit Shah would come to Sasaram for the Emperor Ashoka Jayanti celebrations. The wrong policies of the state government will be exposed. The state government was horrified by this program. For this reason, the state government took the excuse of nuisance to postpone the program. Pramod Chandravanshi, a prominent leader of the Extremely Backward Classes, was about to join the BJP in this programme. Because of this also the state government got nervous and BJP’s program was interrupted, but JDU is not going to gain anything by creating such obstruction. With such misdeeds, JDU’s annihilation has become certain. Public anger is increasing due to the conspiracy being hatched by JDU against BJP. JDU is not going to get any benefit from such acts, but by doing so JDU has shown its political character.

‘Bihar government will have to face the consequences’

The MP said that on the occasion of Ram Navami, wherever there has been disturbance in Bihar, the state government has not taken any action against the miscreants. On the contrary, action has been taken on a community. He said that at present being a Hindu in Bihar and celebrating Hindu festivals has become a crime. Permission was sought to take out Ram Navami processions at many places in the state, but this permission was not granted. Being a Hindu has become a crime in the state. Sanatani tradition is being called wrong. Playing with faith. The result of this will have to be borne by the Bihar government. BJP will expose the misdeeds of the state government as suppressing public sentiments and voices is harmful for democracy. The public will answer this.
