Pollution Will Break Bones Where It Is More There Are More Bones Breaking Big Disclosure In The Study

Air Pollution: Everyone knows that air means oxygen is necessary to live. Life cannot be imagined without air. But, this air becomes extremely fatal when it is poisonous. Increasing air pollution is a big crisis, about which a new study has revealed such a scary thing that you might get worried after listening to it. This study says that the more air pollution increases in your city, the more your bones will become weak. Due to the increase in air pollution, people will also be more vulnerable to chronic diseases like osteoporosis. Bones will become so fragile due to excessive air pollution that they can break even with a minor injury.

Study on 9041 women

With increasing age, the risk of getting a disease like osteoporosis also increases. Generally, such women are more at risk than this, who have already had menopause. For the last six years, data was collected of 9041 such women who had already had menopause. It was found in the study that the bones of women in those areas where the level of toxic gases and pollution were high, were more weak. Especially the throat, spine and hip bones.

Bones of people living in high pollution areas are more weak

Didier Prada, a biomedical scientist at New York-based Columbia University, says that the strength of a person’s bones depends not only on his diet, but also on factors such as the place of his residence, the weather there and pollution. In cities where air pollution is high, the risk of breaking bones of the people living there is also high. By living in such areas, the strength of the bones decreases day by day.

There has been a 10 percent increase in spinal problems.

According to the study of Prada, the bad effect of pollutants associated with nitrogen directly falls on your spine. In the last 3 years, there has been a 10 percent increase in the problems of spinal bones caused by nitrogen related elements. According to the study, bone cells start dying quickly due to air pollution. This also creates oxidative stress, due to which toxic elements start dissolving in the bones. This is the first time that Didier Prada’s team has found evidence that nitrogen oxides cause significant damage to other bones in the body, including the bones of the spine.
