There are two types of blight disease

Agricultural scientists say that when the leaves turn yellow due to excessive frost. When potato starts rotting, it is called scorching disease. It is of two types. This is known as early and late blight. Early blight affects the crop in the beginning of December. The effect of early scorching is rarely seen in the country. The reason behind this is that in the beginning of December there is not much frost and the crops do not come under the grip of frost. Second is late blight. This disease appears in the beginning of January.

Its maximum effect is seen on the crop. This time also the late blight has troubled the crops. It causes serious damage to potatoes. This disease is caused by fungus. When it comes in its grip, the leaves get scorched from the edge and ends. Later the whole plant gets scorched. Potato starts rotting. The higher the humidity in the season. This disease is more dangerous. Potato dies in two to three days after coming in the grip of this disease.

This causes damage to crops

Agricultural scientists say that there is more fog in the increasing cold. If the frost starts to increase, then there is a need to be very careful. Farmers need to be careful about potato, gram, mustard, pigeon pea and vegetable crops. If the temperature is going below 5 degree Celsius then there is a serious threat to the crops. In this situation, when the frost comes in contact with the crops, the cells of the leaves burst violently and the plant dies.

Protect crops in this way

Sulfur should be sprinkled for the protection of the crop. Mixing 600 to 800 grams of sulfur in 250 to 300 liters of water should be sprayed on the crop for 50 to 60 days according to the area per acre. Apart from this, to keep potato cultivation safe, make a solution of three grams of Macojeb M 45 per liter of water and sprinkle it. Azostrabin 18.02 percent, difenoconazole 11.04 percent ACO should be sprayed by making a solution of 01.05 ml per liter of water. Keep irrigating to avoid frost. Smoke should be done around the crop.
