There are mainly three companies for electricity supply in Delhi. The areas of these three companies are determined according to different areas. In North Delhi and North West Delhi, power supply is done by Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited Company. Areas like Model Town, Narela and Alipur come in North Delhi. Whereas areas like Rohini, Kanjhawala and Saraswati Vihar come in North West Delhi.
Power supply in South and West Delhi is done by BSES Rajdhani Power Limited. South Delhi includes Saket, Hauz Khas and Mehrauli. Whereas in West Delhi, areas like Patel Nagar, Rajouri Garden and Punjabi Bagh are the main areas.
The third region is divided into Central and East Delhi where power is supplied by BSES Yamuna Power Limited. Central Delhi includes Karol Bagh, Civil Lines, Kotwali and the eastern region includes areas like Seelampur, Yamuna Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Defence Colony, Kalkaji, Sarita Vihar.
