Actually, Prashant Kishore belongs to Konar village of Rohtas district of Bihar. His father has been a doctor in his family. Not only the father but Prashant Kishore’s wife is also a doctor. He also has a son.
Prashant Kishore had told during an interview that his father late Shrikant Pandey was a doctor. Prashant Kishore studied in government schools wherever his father was posted. PK studied in Science College, Patna and then in Hindu College, but his health deteriorated and he returned back, but completed his graduation from Lucknow.
Prashant Kishore not only studied in India but also lived in America and South Africa. He told that he used to leave studies every 2 years. He took a gap of 3 years after 12th and then left studies for 2 years after graduation. Somehow he got a job in the UN.
Talking about Prashant Kishore’s wife, her name is Jhanvi Das. She belongs to Assam and is a doctor by profession. Prashant and his wife met during a UN health program. The meeting between the two turned into friendship, then fell in love and after some time both of them got married. Both also have a son. Jhanvi currently lives in Bihar with her husband Prashant Kishore and her son.
PM Modi’s government was formed in 2014, after which PK took the responsibility of Nitish Kumar’s political campaign. As soon as Nitish Kumar won the elections, he made Prashant Kishore his advisor. After this, in 2016, Congress hired PK for Punjab elections. After losing twice in a row, Congress came back to power. After Punjab, Congress also hired PK for UP elections, but here they faced failure. .
In the year 2017 itself, Jaganmohan Reddy made PK his advisor. PK designed a series of election campaigns for them and YSRCP returned to power by winning 151 out of 175 seats. After this, in 2020, Aam Aadmi Party hired PK for the Delhi Assembly elections. Here Aam Aadmi Party won with an overwhelming majority.
After that, in the year 2021, PK worked as an advisor to Trinamool Congress, where he helped Mamata Banerjee win 213 out of 294 seats. Similarly, in the year 2021, Prashant Kishore worked as a strategist for DMK chief MK Stalin. Party won 159 seats and MK Stalin became CM in Tamil Nadu for the first time
