Prayagraj: Custody remand of the killers of Mafia Atiq and Ashraf ends, will be lodged in Pratapgarh Jail today

The three shooters of the mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf murder case will be sent to jail by 5 pm on Sunday. His remand period is ending today. Before this all three will be taken to Tej Pratap Sapru Hospital Bailey or Motilal Nehru Divisional Hospital Calvin for medical checkup. For this, elaborate security arrangements have been made. A large number of forces have been deployed to ensure that there is no danger to these three accused.

The court had issued an order to hand over the five-day custodial remand to the SIT to Lavlesh Tiwari of Banda, Arun Maurya of Kasganj and Sunny Singh of Hamirpur, who shot dead the mafia brothers. The interrogation of the accused by the SIT during the custody remand has made several revelations. At the instance of the accused, the police recovered two mobile phones and a charger from their hotel. On Sunday, the three accused will be taken to the hospital for medical by around 2 pm. As per the order of the court, the period of custodial remand is ending at 5 pm. Before this, it is mandatory to get them admitted in Pratapgarh Jail.

All three murderers were brought from Pratapgarh jail

The three accused, who were caught after the murder of the mafia brothers, were earlier kept in Naini jail. Later, seeing the security threat here, all three were shifted to Pratapgarh Jail. Many henchmen and his close associates, including Ali, the second son of Mafia Atiq, are lodged in Naini jail itself. Due to this, all three were feared to be in danger.
