A unique incident happened when preparations were going on for the funeral of a woman after her death. The person who was preparing the coffin for her burial suddenly saw that she was alive because she was breathing. Everyone was shocked to know this. Immediately the police was called at both the places. Fortunately the woman’s life was saved. The police have not made anyone an accused in this case, yet the investigation is going on.
Constance Glantz, 74, was pronounced dead at the hospice where she was staying and was sent to a funeral home in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. The morning after she was at the Butherus-Messer & Love Funeral Home in Lincoln, a staff member began preparing her for the funeral.
According to Lancaster County Chief Deputy Ben Houchin, the employee quickly realized that Constance was still breathing and alive. So the police were called. As soon as the authorities were called, the parlor employees started giving CPR to Constance before taking her to the hospital. Fortunately, the woman survived.

Constance was brought to the nursing home at 9.44am, but had already been pronounced dead that morning at the hospice where she was being cared for. A doctor examined her and signed her death certificate. During a press conference later in the day, Mr Houchin explained that it was a very unusual case. In his 31-year career he had never seen anything like it before.
They said they have found no criminal intent by the nursing home, but the investigation is ongoing. Constance is alive and her family has been notified. The sheriff’s office is currently investigating the case, but no criminal charges have been filed against anyone at this time
