Prevention Of Corona In Kota Increase Covid-19 Test Rajasthan Health Department Issued Advisory Ann

To prevent infection, sampling has been intensified and awareness programs have also been started. The medical department of Kota has been alerted after cases of corona infection were reported in some districts of the state. CMHO Dr. Jagdish Soni said that more than 100 Covid samples are being taken every day at UPHC Tipta, UPHC Shopping Center including Railway Station, Nayapura Bus Stand and Sanjay Nagar New Bus Stand in the city.

Dr. Jagdish Soni said that samples of 107 suspects have been collected at these centres. Instructions have also been given to start sampling at four CHCs of the city, Bhimagamandi, Kunhadi, Vigyan Nagar and Dadabari. The demand for necessary logistics related to Covid testing and prevention has been sent to the Directorate, Jaipur. All necessary preparations related to Covid protection and prevention are being ensured. For this, a mock drill will be conducted once again on 26th December to test the resources available in the hospitals. CMHO Dr. Jagdish Soni said that in order to follow the instructions of Additional Chief Secretary of Medical and Health Department, Shubhra Singh, the Medical and Health Department has issued an advisory for prevention and control of Covid-19 and respiratory diseases.

Corona infected found in these places
During the winter season, the number of patients suffering from symptoms like cough, fever, cold and sore throat increases. At present, an increase in the number of Covid patients has also been recorded in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and other states of the country. The new sub-variant JN-1 of Covid has been found in the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi and Goa. In Rajasthan, two patients in Jaisalmer and two in Jaipur, one of whom is a native of Jhunjhunu and the other from Bharatpur, have been found infected. According to the opinion of experts, prima facie it appears to be a relatively mild infection.

What was said in the advisory?

  • If patients suffering from mild cold, cough, fever, cold and sore throat seek medical advice on time, the disease can be effectively and immediately controlled.
  • After medical examination, ILI (Influenza Like Illness) patients should remain in home isolation in case of symptoms like common cold, cough, fever, catarrh and sore throat. In case of severe or prolonged duration of these symptoms in patients or in case of infection with severe acute respiratory illness, hospitalization is advised.
  • Children, elderly people, pregnant women and people with co-morbidities like diabetes, cancer, heart disease and other serious diseases should be alert and immediately consult a doctor in case of symptoms of cold, cough, fever, catarrh and sore throat. According to this, it is advised to get treatment or Covid test done. Because there is a greater possibility of the disease becoming serious in them.
  • In case of symptoms of ILI and SARI, testing and treatment of Covid-19 should be taken timely as per the doctor’s advice at the nearest health centre.
  • ILI patients who suffer from cold, cough, fever, cough and sore throat should maintain distance from other people and use masks. From time to time, hands should be washed with soap for 20 seconds or sanitizer should be used as needed.
  • Covid Appropriate Behavior should be followed during the upcoming festivals and New Year. Use of Covid Appropriate Behavior System among the general public is a suitable procedure to prevent infection.
