Principal Secretary Higher Education MP Aggarwal will be the acting chairman of Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission. An order in this regard has been issued by the government. In such a situation, the appointment process of teachers will be expedited.
12 members have already been appointed in the newly formed Education Service Selection Commission. Last Friday, everyone had also taken charge before the Principal Secretary in Lucknow. Of these, nine members have also taken charge after reaching the Commission office in Prayagraj. Rohitansh Singh and Vimal Kumar Vishwakarma took charge on Friday itself. In this way, now only Kirti Gautam and Yogendra Nath Singh have not reached the office.
However, due to non-appointment of the Chairman, there was a deadlock in starting the recruitment process even after the members took charge. Now the acting president has been appointed by the government. The Principal Secretary Higher Education will hold the responsibility of this post till the appointment of the new Chairman. In such a situation, after this order of the government, every kind of deadlock in the commission has been resolved.
It is being told that the Chairman will soon hold a meeting with all the members. In the meeting, there will be a discussion on collecting details of previously advertised posts for recruitment of teachers in basic, secondary and higher education and starting the recruitment process afresh. The Commission is preparing to start recruitment for these posts immediately after the code of conduct is over. In such a situation, there will be discussion in the meeting on completing other formalities till then.
