BSA has suspended the headmaster of Chhatara primary school in Hathras after he was found absent without permission during inspection. The action has created panic in the Basic Education Department.
BSA Upendra Gupta was found absent by Principal Devesh Grover. On checking the attendance register, the headmaster was unauthorizedly absent without any information on 26 September and 18 November 2023. BSA has suspended the Principal after he was found prima facie guilty of being absent without any notice, tarnishing the image of the department by not taking interest in teaching work, not discharging his official responsibilities and playing with the future of the students. The investigation of the case has been handed over to Block Education Officer Sikandra Rao. During the suspension period, he has been attached to the Block Education Officer’s office.
Teachers’ salaries stopped for being found absent
Hathras BSA inspected Primary School Santikra Block Mursan. One day’s salary of assistant teacher and in-charge headmistress Jyoti Verma was stopped for negligence in teaching work. Due to negligence in inspection of merger school Nagla Bairu, one day salary of the entire staff of the school was stopped. The salary of Lalita, the instructor of primary school Aarti development block Sahpau, was also stopped. One day’s salary of the entire staff of the merger school, Narayanpur Vaad has also been stopped.
