The film depicts his journey as he tries to make the village self-sufficient in terms of water despite many challenges.
Produced by Priyanka and Madhu Chopra under their banner Purple Pebble Pictures in association with Rajshri Entertainment, ‘Paani’ stars Subodh Bhave, Kishor Kadam, Adinath Kothare and Rucha Vaidya in lead roles. The film was originally released in 2019 and won the National Film Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation.
