Amir said, ‘As a bowler, you need this kind of attitude in the field, no matter who the batsman is in front of you. And in franchise cricket, this type of batsman vs bowler contest gives fun to the cricket fans. Even with all this, the tournament gets hype and also gets a new level. People liked it a lot on social media. I also enjoyed this rivalry a lot.

Such was the dispute between Babur and Amir
During the initial matches of PSL 2023, there was an altercation in the field between Babar Azam and Mohammad Amir. Babar Azam was at the batting end for Peshawar Zalmi and Mohammad Amir was bowling for Karachi Kings. During this, Amir once made some signal to Babar on the pitch itself and the second time threw a sharp throw towards him in anger. There was a lot of debate regarding this from Pak media to social media. After this, when Aamir sent Azam to the pavilion at zero in the second match, even then his action was going to make headlines.

Even before the start of the tournament, Amir gave a big statement without taking Babar’s name. He had said that bowling in front of right-handed batsmen feels like throwing the ball in front of the tail batsmen.
