Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Review Meeting On Coronavirus Urges People To Wear Masks


Punjab Coronavirus News: The Punjab government has become alert amid the sound of Corona infection. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann (Bhagwant Mann) held a meeting on Friday to review the situation related to Kovid-19. After the meeting, he urged people to wear masks in public places. Mann said that the state government is fully prepared to meet any unforeseen challenge. He directed the Deputy Commissioners to continuously review the arrangements in the respective districts. Mann said that the government will set up a state level Covid control room.

Appeal to wear masks in public places

After the review meeting, the chief minister urged people to wear masks in public places, educational institutions, government and private offices, gatherings and malls, an official statement said. According to the statement, Mann said that necessary precautionary measures should be strictly followed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. People should maintain social distance, adopt respiratory behavior and do not spit in public places.

CM Mann reviewed the situation in Corona

Mann asked the health department to ensure that every person with symptoms like Kovid-19 is tested and the protocol should be followed. It has been said in the statement that all the hospitals, laboratories and centers testing Kovid-19 will have to share the details of the test and results on the ‘Cova’ portal of the Punjab government. Mann appealed to take the second and precautionary dose of the anti-Kovid-19 vaccine as soon as possible. He said that complete genome sequencing of all infected patients should be ensured. Mann said on the preparations that adequate availability of beds including oxygen facility has been ensured in the state.
