In Purnia, Bihar, a woman escaped divorce. Actually, the woman’s husband has been living in Delhi and working as a laborer for four months. As soon as he came to know that his wife was eight weeks pregnant, the ground slipped from under his feet, as he himself had been out of the house for four months. After hearing the news of his wife’s pregnancy, the husband quarreled with her over the phone and called her a bad person.
At the same time, the wife kept pleading with her husband repeatedly that he had not taken any wrong step. After that the husband called his home and asked to get the ultrasound done again. After that, when the in-laws got the woman’s ultrasound done at another place, the ground slipped from under the feet of the in-laws. This time the woman turned out to be 10 weeks pregnant. After this, the in-laws also stopped talking to the woman and informed their son also. Hearing this, the unhappy husband decided to divorce his wife, leading the distressed woman to seek help from the village people. At the same time, on the advice of some people of the village, the woman went to Purnia and got an ultrasound done from a senior doctor and it turned out that the woman was not pregnant. There was a problem in her uterus, due to which she was having stomach pain.
Actually, Bibi Mustkeena, a woman from Shikarpur Diyari village of Dagrua police station area of Purnia district, had constant pain in her stomach. After that, she got herself examined by a doctor at Mili Ultrasound Center in Dagrua, where the report showed that she was eight weeks pregnant. As soon as the woman’s in-laws came to know about this, they told their son working in Delhi. After that, the husband abused his wife a lot, because the husband had gone to Delhi to earn money only four months ago. After this, the in-laws got her examined at Khushi Ultrasound Center this time and the woman was found to be 10 weeks pregnant. After this, the woman’s husband had made full preparations to divorce her. At the same time, when the people of the village came to know about this, the woman was sent to Purnia. Where some other disease was found. After that the woman, her husband and in-laws heaved a sigh of relief.
It is being told that illegal nursing homes, X-ray and ultrasound centers have mushroomed in Dagrua. There is no doctor in these, work is done only with the help of technicians. The people working in the ultrasound center here do not have any degree, these people are playing with the lives and dignity of the patients by learning in some other ultrasound center and becoming doctors themselves.
The two ultrasound centers where the woman had earlier got herself examined, both turned out to be fake. At the same time, after the incident, the woman and her family members created a ruckus in both the ultrasound centers and the staff of both the centers locked them and ran away. The woman has not yet lodged any complaint in the police station in this regard.
