Pushya Nakshatra July 2024: Among all the 27 nakshatras, Pushya nakshatra is considered to be very auspicious. Whenever this nakshatra falls on a Sunday, it creates a special yoga known as Ravi Pushya nakshatra.
There is a tradition of doing charity and shopping along with religious activities on Pushya Nakshatra. The planetary defects in the horoscope can be pacified by the worship and auspicious works done in this Yoga. This time Ravi Pushya Nakshatra Yoga is being formed on the second day of Ashadh Shukla on 7th July 2024. On this day, Pushya Nakshatra will start at 04:38 am and will end the next day i.e. on 8th July at 06:03 am.
Along with this, Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga, Budhaditya Yoga, Harshan Yoga are also being formed on this day, due to which the power of Ravi Pushya Yoga will increase further.
- In this auspicious occasion, make a Swastika with turmeric on both sides of the main door of your house and put a dot of Kumkum in between them and recite Shree Sukta, Mahalakshmi Sukta, Vishnu Shree Sukta, Mahalakshmi Sukta, Lakshmi Stotra or Kanakdhara Stotra in the house yourself or get it done by a ritualistic Brahmin. This will please Goddess Mahalakshmi, you will become the recipient of her special blessings and she will also reside permanently in the house. Reciting these daily brings prosperity.
- On this day, worshipping Dakshinavarti Shankh and Shriyantra according to the rituals and installing it in your home, office or factory gives unexpected progress and profit in business.
- To maintain wealth and prosperity in the house, offer turmeric to Shri Vishnu Lakshmi ji and mix some water in the offered turmeric and write “Shri” on your safe. Then wrap the one-eyed coconut in a red cloth and keep it in the safe or temple. And chant the mantra Om Aim Hrim Shreem Ekakshinalikeray Namah 108 times using a sphatik rosary.
- On this day, after waking up early in the morning and taking a bath, fill a copper vessel with clean water and put some shami leaves, oleander flowers, honey, whole rice, milk and sugar candy in it and offer water to the Sun with both hands. While offering water, the copper vessel should be above the shoulder and the stream of water should be poured above your head and take special care that excess water does not fall on the ground or touches your feet. When you pour the stream of water, feel the sunlight entering your body through that stream and chant the mantra Om Suryay Namah. This brings respect and prestige.
