President of Sabka Haq Organization in Bareilly, Rafia Shabnam, said that the main president of Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC), Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, is opposing the action being taken against madrassas and mosques in an unconstitutional manner in the country. After all, why is he alone, here the national presidents of dozens of Muslim organizations and the dignitaries of Dargahs and Khankahs are keeping silence.
On Sunday, Rafia Shabnam expressed her reaction on the movement being conducted by IMC President Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan. He said that not only in Bareilly city but across the country, thousands of Muslims are holding the posts of national president of some organization or the other. So, from the city to the entire country, Dargahs and Khankahs are being worshiped, yet the government is taking unconstitutional action of demolishing and occupying Madrassas and Mosques. Only Maulana Tauqeer Raza has come forward to protest against this.
Rafia Shabnam said that the national presidents of all the Muslim organizations are mostly seen teaching the lessons of Islam to the Muslims, but whenever the issues of Muslims come up, only the IMC President Maulana Tauqeer takes to the streets to protest. At that moment everyone else looks like a wet cat.
